Sport & Culture

St Teresa’s School offers a variety of sporting and cultural opportunities for children and their families.

St Teresa’s School Netball Club

St Teresa’s Netball club is run by volunteers of St Teresa’s.

We are part of Wellington West Netball that run a winter netball competition for the ten primary schools in our area on Saturdays.

The Winter competition is for year 3’s to 8’s.  We generally have one team per year group. Practices are run once a week either before or after school.

We also offer a FutureFerns programme for years 1 and 2. This introduces them to the game of netball and includes a weekly training session followed by a mini tournament towards the end of the season, played with other schools in the Wellington West satellite.

Lewis Eady – Music Lessons at School

St Teresa’s is a partner school for Lewis Eady.

We provide small group or individual tuition in a wide range of instruments onsite after 3.00pm, making use of Lewis Eady’s trained music teachers.

Group lessons are a fun, social way for children to get started on a musical instrument together. Listening skills, co-operation and collaboration are naturally developed in a group setting and peer to peer sharing and learning is encouraged.

Individual lessons are suited to children who work best in a focussed one-on-one situation, who want to make fast progress and are committed to regular practice.

To enrol, pop in and pick up the most up to date information from the school office.
