Thank you to our busy bees: Zinna, Malia, Ivy and Stephanie for being spotted following our school rules! You are great role models!
With the focus of the year being ‘he waka eke noa’ (We’re all in this together) Teina has been looking at the school values of Aroha and Tika. Together we have been exploring the different ways we can show aroha and tika around school. In groups we created the perfect recipe which we strongly believe would make the best class!
In Potiki we have been working on being kind and sharing and working collaboratively with others. We have made jelly, wrote together in groups, made bead necklaces, and helped others make origami cups. During learning through play we have learnt about magnets and discovered what they can do. We have been painting waves for our waka and making collage crosses for Lent.
This week in Potiki we have completed our waka and talked about how we need to all paddle in the same direction for us to succeed.
