My Confirmation
I did my confirmation last Sunday and it was fun because we got a present after we got the holy spirit in us. We also got a special lunch out of church with sponsors and mums or dads and the special lunch and presents were my favorite.
I’m sure that everyone’s favorite part was a special lunch out of church with their sponsors and mums or dads and the presents. I did the one of the prayers of the faithfuls, Mark did the welcome reading, Markus did the second reading and Alice did the first reading. The presents I got were a cross that was made with real wood that you can hang up from Joseph and the second present I got was from one of my sponsors named Jannie. She gave me a nerf gun and it had really good accuracy. It also had attachments for the gun and the attachments were a scope and a bullet holder which can hold three bullets. My saint was Teresa of Avila. I chose her because she did little deeds.
Joseph’s favourite part of church was collecting the money and he got a lot. He went to karori park cafe to celebrate his confirmation and he got a hot chocolate with a chocolate fish and he put in the chocolate fish in the hot chocolate and soaked it and then ate it, also he got chicken nuggets. His saint was James because it is similar to his name. Really confirmation is about getting the Holy Spirit inside you and being like your saint and having the gifts and fruits of the spirit. We also need to be confirmed and confirmation makes us get confirmed.
When you’ve done all the sacraments you are obviously confirmed.
